Environmental Monitoring Wells

As part of the service offerings from Strata Group, we also install environmental wells and monitoring wells. Both types of wells will be constructed in line with all environmental protections and regulations.

We handle all facets of the project from planning to site preparation to construction to monitoring. Our emphasis is on intelligent project management that makes the best of utilizing resources and doing so in a cost-effective manner. Our environmental drilling process is safe and clean without posing any harm to the surrounding area. All excavation and drilling equipment used to produce environmental wells meet or exceed industry standards.
                         
Environmental wells involve an exacting process, but we utilize different methods and equipment to meet project specifications. Different drilling methods are available to produce environmental wells, including rock core holes and air rotary holes. Casing and mounting options are also customizable.
                         
Monitoring wells vary in size based on their intended applications. Made from PVC or stainless steel, monitoring wells are used at sites with suspected contamination issues. The site depends on what type of installation is performed for the monitoring wells. Drilling methods may include direct push, air rotary drilling, mud rotary, or stem auger. Inorganic and organic materials must be removed once a monitoring well is in place. After this step is complete, water sampling can be done from the well to test for contaminants.
